However much I could stand to love him,
Has no affect on how much it hurts when he pushes away.
Although the light in my hearts grows dim,
It still exerts a passion for our new day.
We will rise and grow apart,
Yet remembering the past memories of joy.
Begin again from the start,
Leaving the end in our own locked story.
Bring new love and light,
Dropping away the fear of it again.
Pure as the mornings white,
Living true and being able to stand.
Lifting our heads,
Taking in what we see.
Forgeting what was said,
Letting our hearts and minds roam free.
